with – Year 1 to 2
- Focus: Early Reading, Writing & Sentence Formation
- Reading: Phonics-based decoding, reading and retelling simple stories (Oxford Reading Tree / HMH / Journeys).
- Writing: Full sentences with capital letters and punctuation; story sequencing.
- Grammar: Nouns, verbs, adjectives, simple sentence structure.
- Spelling: Common sight words, CVC and CVCC patterns.
- Speaking & Listening: Expressing ideas clearly, listening for detail, turn-taking in conversations.
